Silk bound in concertina "accordion" style, when completely unfurled, measures over 151/2 FEET!
Album measures 75/8 x 45/8 x 11/2 inches, 151/2 completely unfolded. Photographs measure 51/2 x 3 5/8 inches approximately.
Containing 50 hand-tinted,colored photographs
25 photos on 1 side and 25 on opposite side(each leaf displaying a photo on each side)
Various interesting scenes including a Samurai committing seppuku with another ready to decapitate him, Sumo wrestlers, boat building, scenes in Nagasaki, Osaka, Yokohama, etc.
Photos are in fine condition mounted to cards showing occasional light soiling , former's name in ink to inner boards, silk binding showing some wear and fraying.
