Exterior leather binding in poor condition. Leaf 571/572 half torn away and absent. Although the volume is tightly bound and covers firmly attached, most of the leather spine is missing, with wear and rubbing to covers. Faint stain running sporadically to upper edge of pages 368-384, 401-416, and reappears to upper edge of corners 481-496...610-624...723-739...771-780....851-863.....937-946....1121-1136...1265-1277....1297-1313 (see photos). 3 inch tear to leaf 1189/1190 to upper gutter edge.
