King James Version Bible, KJV. Finely bound in the dark morocco, elaborately blindstamped and gilt tooled, 4 raised bands, gilded page edges and marbled inner boards.
Comes with an 1857 Prayer leaflet, found laid in loosely.
125/8 x 10 inches
Unpaginated but appears complete.
Very good condition with minor wear to exteriors and some pitting to the leather to upper exterior front cover joint. Interiors are very good with the bulk of the pages in bright and fine condition. A silk bookmarker is present but detached. Some foxing to front and back preliminary pages and toned offsetting to front and back inner boards (see photos).
