Fine. Very, very tight bindings....So tight books are harder to open, as is often the case with vellum. Old ink former owner's signature to first blanks of both volumes, marbled paper is showing minor some 'cracking' or tearing where the vellum meets the marbled paper to the front of volume 1 and rear cover volume 2. Otherwise in beautiful, fine condition.
