Unique and finely bound and signed by Riviere and Son. Bound in full calf with tooled and coloured images: a flower to the rear cover, a sword to the spine, and the title with a elaborate illustration to front cover. Gilt stamped title and 1 raised band to spine. Marbled inner boards and gilt lined turn-ins. All page edges gilt.

6 x 41/8 inches

xli, 190 pages, tissue-guarded frontis. Complete.

Some wear to edges and exteriors, with a little chipping to head of leather spine and some wear to edges of leather spine joints but volume is solid. Volume is internally fine.
