Beautifully bound in what appears to be gold colored leather over gilt stamped silk boards. This second edition, if not scarcer than the 1st edition, is also more attractively bound.
Near Fine: Light rubbing to the gold colored leather binding. Nice contemporary former owner's inscription to the first blank, some discoloration to front and rear inner boards from tape used to secure the original plastic wrapper. Else all pages in fine conditon, crisp and clean.
These photographs serve as an important and valuable historical record as the places in these photographs ceased to exist upon the completion of the dam
