The Mahzor of Worms (Germany), a manuscript from 1272, is thought to contain the oldest written example of Yiddish. A storied manuscript from the city of Worms, rescued from the hands of the Nazis by an archivist during WWII. (blog.nli.org.il/en/worms_mahzor/)

Fine condition with a neat museum cataloguing identifier in ink to top edge of 1st blank and again to the top edge of the rear inner board. Also inserted is a identifying placard from a Judaica museum, from whence this collection came from.
