6 thick, heavy Folio volumes. Beautifully and expensively rebacked with thick tan calf and gilt stamped morocco labels, 5 raised bands and retaining the original 18th century leather boards.
All but one of the volumes has a contemporary 18th century 'Richard Champion' bookplate pasted to inner front cover.
Volumes measure 14 x 91/2 inches, save for Volume II which is 0.5" smaller in height and width measuring and 131/2 x 9 inches

[Bonnet, known as the 'Gentleman Pirate', and his relationship with the infamous Pirate Blackbeard. He was eventually caught, put on trial and hanged in Charlestown on December 10, 1718. Stede Bonnet also inspired Diana Gabaldon's fictional character Stephen Bonnet in the Outlander series.]
All volumes show minor foxing and toning throughout, occasional wear to page edges and margins, all mostly to the pages at the front and back. Pages are largely in very good and clean condition.
As is relatively common in 18th century bindings, some pages are erroneously numbered, sometimes bound out of place, etc. All volumes have been collated complete with all text present, although note that binder/printer's errors are found in each volume, occasionally and sometimes resulting in extra pages.
