DELUXE EDITIONS. Gilt stamped binding over textured purple boards, top page edges gilded with other edges 'rough' cut. Beautifully illustrated by NINO CARBE.

[1 blank leaf]+[1-239, including 8 full page illustrations and numerous in text and decorative initials]+[1 blank leaf]. Complete.

Very Good: Minor edge and shelfwear to exteriors, small stain to outside page edges (not affecting text), starting faintly on page 145 and at it's worst on page 161, then getting fainter and fainter and gone by page 191 (see photos for worst case). The photos try and show the worst of the stain....There are approximately 15 pages that have the stain to the degree in the pictures, with the other pages showing fainter.

Otherwise internally clean and bright. A very nice tight copy.
