Fine gilt tooled crimson polished calf, gilt lined covers, gold tooled turn ins, 5 raised band and 6 elaborately gilded compartments, silk bookmarker and page edges all gilt.
Illustrated by fine engravings on steel, many by Turner. Poems by Milton, Disraeli, Cowley, Shakespeare, Shelley, E.A. Poe, Spenser, Tennyson, Coleridge, Wordsworth, etc.

[4 blank pages] + [x, 16-255] + [30 full page, tissue-guarded engravings] + [4 blank end pages]. Complete.
In very good condition with some minor wear to exteriors, leather darkened to the upper edge of front cover. Interiors are fine save for former owner's signature to inner front cover and first blank, offsetting/toning to first and last blanks from leather turn-ins.
Otherwise a tight, square and crisp copy.
