Undated, but circa 1890. Housed in a damaged but charming period frame.

Artist unknown but very well executed in Pen & Ink on paper mounted to card. The print of the final state bookplate pasted to separate piece of card.

Circa 1895. Very much in the Arts & Crafts style of William Morris and Walter Crane.

Large and rare example together with an actual bookplate print in its final state.

18 x 131/2 inches (image sight within frame)

9 x 87/8 inches (overall size of card)
35/8 x 23/4 inches (size of bookplate)

In very good condition. Gilt wood and plaster frame, while charming, is in poor condition with wear and much plaster loss. Note that work was not observed out of frame.
