Mezzotint by McArdell (MacArdell) after the painting by Hudson.

No date, but circa 1755-1760.

Original mezzotint on paper, pasted to paper with hand-written letters in ink, and laid down on board. Original 18th century ebonized and gilt bordered wood framed.

161/4 x 123/4 inches (in frame)
131/2 x 95/8 inches (size of mezzotint on board including letters)
11 x 87/8 inches (actual mezzotint)

In good condition with wear, soiling and some staining to paper as seen in accompanying photographs.

A very rare piece.
