London: G. Kearsley, 1783. Second Edition.

A rare pamphlet contesting the very unpopular British Stamp Duties Act of 1783. It was a duty or tax, raised in efforts to pay for the American War of Independence. This pamphlet aimed to help people circumvent this tax and for obvious reasons was released under a pseudonym.

81/4 x 5 inches

28 pages

In very good condition with some wear to edges and minor foxing to the front and back pages of the pamphlet.
