All volumes show minor foxing and toning throughout, occasional wear to page edges and margins, all mostly to the pages at the front and back. Pages are largely in very good and clean condition.

As is relatively common in 18th century bindings, some pages are erroneously numbered, sometimes bound out of place, etc. All volumes have been collated complete with all text present, although note that binder/printer's errors are found in each volume, occasionally and sometimes resulting in extra pages.

A massive and detailed set, below is the collations and detailed condition assessments for each volume:

Volume I: 1 blank leaf, 1 title leaf, 2 pages Contents, xiv, 998 pages, 1 blank leaf.

Leaf 83,84 top corner torn away with no text loss (see photo) / error in pagination at page 128, after page 128, pages go back to 121-128, then back to to 129, with no loss of text and resulting in 8 extra pages /  error in pagination after page 327, with next page going back to 322 and eventually going back to 328 and on, no loss of text and resulting in extra pages / small stain to outer corners and page outer edges of 979-998, not affecting text.

Volume II: 1 blank leaf, 1 title leaf, 2 pages of Contents, 1038 pages, 1 blank end leaf.

Volume is 0.5" smaller in height and width, but not affecting text / error in pagination at page 276, with next page going back to 273-276, then back to 277, with no loss of text and resulting in 4 extra pages / larger foxing spot to upper edge of 503-508 (see photo) / some staining or toning to edges of pages 1025-1038.

Volume III: 1 blank leaf, 1 title leaf, 2 pages Contents, 1027 pages, 1 blank end leaf.

Faint stain to outer edge of approximately first 100 pages and last few pages, extremely faint and hardly noticeable after page 50 (see photos for extreme) and most prominent on the first 25 or so pages  / pages numbers 239 and 240 used twice resulting in 2 extra pages / misprint: pages jump from 304 to 307 but with no loss of text / leaf 491,492 bound after leaf 493,494 : binding error but all text present / pages jump from 572 to 577 but a printer's error as no text is missing / error in pagination after page 776, pages go to 773-776, and back to page 777, resulting in 4 extra pages / a printing error as pages skip from 916 to 921 but with no loss of text.

Volume IV: 2 blank leaves, 1 title leaf, 2 pages of Contents, 862 pages, 2 blank end leaves.

Faint and minor stain to the lower fore edges and corners, sporadically affecting the first 85 pages / old small 'wormholes' to the fore edge margins of the occasional page affecting the first half of pages / error in pagination at page 240, with next pages going back to 237, 238, 239, 240 and back to 241, resulting in 4 extra pages / old repair to lower corner of leaf 369,370.

Volume V: 2 blank end leaves, 1 Title leaf, 2 pages Contents, 858 pages, 2 blank end leaves.

Stain to outer edge of pages 1-67, becoming fainter and unnoticeable by page 67 / a few instances of page number printing errors but with no loss / lower corner of leaf 407,408 torn away but with no text loss / leaf 841,842 misbound (bound before pages 837-840 in error).

Volume VI: 1 blank leaf, 1 Title leaf , 1 leaf Contents, 478 pages + 308 pages + Appendix: 1 Title leaf, 1 leaf Contents + 60 pages, [with 'Alphabetical table of the Principal Matters....in all Six Volumes' = 40 leaves], 1 blank leaf.

Very faint stain to upper portion of pages, which affects approximately the first 260 pages intermittently (of which the first 30 pages showing the most severe, but still faint) / misbinding: pages 109-112 bound between pages 104 and 105 but all present and with no loss of text / Appendix pages 29-50 showing faint staining to lower corner of pages, tear to the gutter edge of leaf 57,58 with a little loss of text.
